FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR

Hi! I'm Abby Ferreira, Fundraising Coordinator for the Stone Avenue Elementary PTO. My husband, Fernando, and I have been married for 11 years—we were high school sweethearts and have been together ever since! We met in Spanish class, and although neither of us became fluent, we knew we wanted our boys, Zayden in 4th grade and Nathan in TK, to have the opportunity to learn Spanish and experience the benefits of a bilingual education, which made Stone Avenue’s Dual Immersion (DI) program a perfect fit for our family. 

My history with the PTO goes back to Stone Avenue's second year, when I served on the board before taking time to homeschool my sons. Even while homeschooling, I stayed connected and helped out whenever I could. We are so happy to be back at Stone Avenue full-time this year! As Fundraising Coordinator, I’m excited to put my energy toward planning fun, successful events that bring in resources for our students and teachers.

Outside of school, I am heavily involved in my church, passionate about health and fitness, follow a vegetarian lifestyle, and proudly serve as team mom for every sport my boys play. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year connecting with families and making a positive impact on campus!
