Every great movement starts with a quiet spark.

During the 2023–2024 school year, after several years of silence, two dedicated parents looked at Stone Avenue Elementary and saw an opportunity to bring our community back together. Stepping forward into empty shoes, they took on the challenge of restarting the PTO from scratch. Through endless passion, determination, and a vision for what our school could become, they laid down the groundwork for something truly special.

That spark quickly caught fire. By the following year, the energy had grown contagious. A full leadership team stepped up to share the weight—bringing on a Treasurer, Secretary, Fundraising Coordinator, Historian, and Financial Auditor alongside our President and Vice President. Together with a growing family of volunteers, we began turning ideas into reality: establishing cherished new traditions, showing up big for our incredible teachers and staff, creating core memories for our students, and stitching our school and neighborhood closer than ever before.

By our fourth year, our momentum reached new heights. To keep pace with the thriving calendar of activities and experiences filling our school year, we welcomed an Events Chair to the team. Every new program, every successful fundraiser, and every helping hand that joins us deepens the footprint we leave on Stone Avenue.

What began as a quiet conversation between two parents has blossomed into a vibrant, unified community of volunteers working toward one shared promise: to uplift our school, celebrate our kids, and ensure every family and staff member feels welcomed, supported, and heard.

We are deeply proud of where this story began, forever grateful to every hand that helped build the road, and eagerly turning the page to see what we accomplish next—together.

At Stone Avenue Elementary, our strength lies in our community. We come from all walks of life, bringing different perspectives, talents, and stories, but we are all united in backing our Dolphins.

You don't need a background in event planning, fundraising, or volunteering to make a real impact here. There are no fancy prerequisites, no strict commitments, and no application forms to fill out. Whether you can lend a hand for thirty minutes at a school event, jump into a regular volunteer role, or simply want to drop into a meeting and stay in the loop, your presence matters.
