HISTORIAN

Hi! I’m Kayla Mejia, and this is my third year with the Stone Avenue Elementary PTO. I currently serve as Historian, helping capture and preserve all the fun, memories, and milestones that make our PTO and school community special.

I’m a full-time working mom, married to my husband, Christian, for 16 years—though our story goes back to when we were teenagers! We have two children: Carter, a 2nd grader in the Dual Immersion (DI) program, and our one-year-old daughter, Skylee.

Our family is always on the go, so life tends to be pretty busy! I’ve also always been obsessed with all things Disney, and lately I’ve added playing Lorcana and Magic: The Gathering and collecting Pokémon cards to my list of favorite things. When I find a little free time, you’ll usually find me enjoying one of my hobbies or spending time with my family.

I’m excited for another year with the PTO and look forward to making more memories with our Stone Avenue families!
