PRESIDENT

Hi, I’m Karla Cervantes, and I am honored to serve as the President of the Stone Avenue PTO! This is my fourth year with the PTO, and Stone Avenue holds a very special place in our family’s life.

I'm a Cal State San Bernardino graduate and a full-time working mom to two amazing Stone Avenue students. I’ve been happily married to my husband, Javier, for almost 12 years. Our son, Julian, is a 3rd grader in the GATE program, and our daughter, Mariella, is in Kindergarten. Watching them both grow and thrive—especially through the Dual Immersion program—has been pure joy.

A few years ago, I co-founded the effort to revive our PTO after it had been inactive for years. Watching a small team of two passionate moms grow into a dedicated, thriving board has been incredibly meaningful. I’m so proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited about where we’re going.

Outside of work and PTO duties, my favorite place to be is with my family. Whether we're exploring new places, enjoying a day at Disneyland, heading to the mountains, or celebrating milestones, I'm always the mom capturing every single moment with my camera!

As PTO President, my goal is to foster a strong community and create rich, lasting memories for every student at Stone Avenue. I’m looking forward to another fantastic year of collaborating with our incredible parents and staff!
