TREASURER & SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL MEMBER

Hi! I'm Jessica Macias, Treasurer for the Stone Avenue Elementary PTO and a member of the School Site Council. My connection to Stone Avenue runs deep—I am a proud alumna who attended the school the very first year it opened! As a graduate of UC Riverside, a stay-at-home mom of two current Stone Avenue students—Everleigh in 2nd grade and Elliana in Transitional Kindergarten (TK)—and happily married to my wonderful husband, Jorge, for 10 years, I'm thrilled to watch my daughters grow here as part of the Dual Immersion (DI) program. 

My journey with the PTO began simply out of a desire to support my daughters' school, but it has since grown into a much bigger commitment to making Stone Avenue a fun, welcoming, and supportive place for every student and family. As PTO Treasurer, I help oversee our finances while staying involved in the day-to-day details that keep our programs, fundraisers, and events running smoothly. I especially love brainstorming new ideas, organizing events, finding ways to bring families together, and ensuring that every dollar we raise directly benefits our students.

Serving on the School Site Council allows me to advocate further for our school community, working alongside parents, teachers, and staff to help guide school priorities. I truly believe that some of the best school memories happen outside of the classroom—whether it’s a special event, a field trip, a fundraiser, or simply seeing students get excited about something happening on campus. When we all work together, our kids thrive.

When I'm not working on PTO projects or school events, I love spending quality time with my family—and, as anyone on the PTO board can tell you, finding yet another project to organize! I'm always happy to lend a hand, share an idea, or find a way to make something great happen for the Stone Avenue community.
