Hi! I'm Rose Estrada, Vice President of the Stone Avenue Elementary PTO.
Being a mom has always been one of the greatest joys of my life. I am a proud mother of seven children—six daughters and one son—and a grandmother to one wonderful granddaughter. For the past 20 years, I have been part of the Jurupa Unified School District community, and it has been a privilege to watch my children grow, learn, and succeed academically, athletically, and personally. Seeing my older children graduate and step into successful adulthood is something I am incredibly proud of.
One of my few regrets was not enrolling my daughters in the Dual Immersion (DI) program when they were younger. So, when it came time to make that decision for my son, I jumped at the opportunity. He has now been in the DI program for nearly four years, and it has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for his education.
This is my fourth year serving on the board of the Stone Avenue PTO. I have always loved being involved in my children’s school and doing whatever I can to support our school community. One of my favorite parts of PTO is helping create fun and meaningful memories—not only for my own children, but for all of our students.
I’m grateful to be surrounded by parents who share the same passion for making school a fun and memorable experience for our children. Along the way, I’ve made wonderful friendships and become part of a community that I truly value.
