SECRETARY

Hi, I’m Candice Garza, Secretary of the Stone Avenue PTO! This is my first year on the board, and after my daughter asked me multiple times to join, I finally took the leap—and I’m so glad I did. My favorite part of being involved is seeing the kids' excitement during our events and knowing we're helping create lasting memories for them.

I was born and raised in Riverside, where I live with my husband of 17 years and our three wonderful children. As a stay-at-home mom and a caregiver to my mother-in-law, family is at the center of everything I do. My youngest daughter, Emily, is in 4th grade, and I love volunteering in her classroom whenever I can to support her teacher and the students.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me crafting (crochet is my current favorite!) or baking a batch of my signature cinnamon rolls.

My goal this year is to help the PTO provide fun, meaningful, and educational opportunities for all our students while strengthening our welcoming school community. I’m thrilled to be part of the team and look forward to a fantastic year together!
